Wellesley

I have a special fondness for Wellesley, home to many of our agents and to the Rutledge Properties office. Wellesley is full of New England charm, with historic 1860s homes and classic colonials throughout the town. There are also a number of new condos and houses. Wellesley’s lively and walkable downtown features restaurants and shops. The trip to Boston is easy via one of several commuter rail stops in town or easy access to major roadways including Rt. 9, Rt. 128, and the Massachusetts Turnpike. The public school system is consistently ranked among the top districts in the state. Meanwhile, the town is home to several private K–12 schools and colleges, including Dana Hall, Tenacre Country Day School, Saint John School, Wellesley College, Babson College, and Mass Bay Community College. From dining and shopping to enjoying outdoor recreation—there’s always plenty to do right here in town.
